Cisco Jiménez’s work includes painting, sculpture, drawing and installation. Born in Cuernavaca, Mexico, in 1969, Cisco studied industrial design and fine arts. He is currently granted by the Mexican Ministry of Culture (FONCA Sistema Nacional de Creadores). His work is collected by the Museo Universitario de Arte Contemporáneo, MUAC (Mexico City), the Museo de Arte Moderno, MAM (Mexico City), the British Museum (London), and the DeYong Museum of Art (San Francisco), among others.
He has received the prize for the 2018 Bienal Rufino Tamayo.
In November 2021, his solo show “Anatómica”, curated by Tobias Ostrander, is inaugurated in the Museo Amparo (Puebla, Mexico).
