Sofía Echeverri (Guadalajara, Mexico), 1971.
Sofía delves into the representation of power in human behaviour through complex stagings: at the edge of reality and fiction, the scenes she describes are superimposed with bright colour patterns.
She is graduated in visual arts from the Universidad de Guadalajara and the Musée du Louvre.
Her series “Pedir la Lluvia” was presented in the Museo Carrillo Gil in CDMX as a solo show in 2017. From September 2020 to March 2021 he solo show “Mecanismo del Cosmos” is presented at The Museo de la Ciudad de México.
