Francisco “Taka” Fernández (1966, Mexico City) studied at the Escuela Nacional de Artes Plásticas (National University UNAM). His work has been shown at the museum of Palacio de Bellas Artes (CDMX), the Bronx Museum (New York), the Museum El Chopo (CDMX), the Museum of Contemporary Art of Monterrey (MARCO) and the Museo Carrilo Gil (CDMX) among others. His paintings are part of private and institutional collections such as JUMEX (CDMX), The Mexican Museum (San Francisco), The Pérez Art Museum (Miami) and the MUAC (National University Museum of Mexico City).
